1942 Ford Super Deluxe Sedan (very rare)

Wow…Absolutely gorgeous 1942 Ford Super Deluxe Sedan. There were only 43,407 Domestic 1942 models made due to the Second World War which makes it a very rare car. Many of these cars were used in WWII as military staff cars. These cars were not reproduced again until after the war in 1946.

It was a California car for at least 34 years before being brought to Florida 11 years ago. Current owner for the past 10 years. The interior was completely redone 11 years ago. The glass is original (small crack in vent window). The color is an original color.

It is a flathead 6 cylinder with a 3-speed manual transmission. It runs and shifts perfectly. The car is totally rust free and has no replaced metal, Bondo or fillers. The chrome is absolutely beautiful (no rust, nicks or scratches).

It has been converted to 12-volt system with Pertronix Ignition. It has a rebuilt 5-core radiator (no heat problems) with Air Conditioning.
New whitewall radial tires and a two-year old battery with a kill switch. New door rubbers, insulated doors and floors plus new original floor mats.

The speedometer works. The other gauges do not work. There is a set of aftermarket gauges under the dash. The original gauges can be converted to 12-volt if so desired.
