LEESBURG, FL — This year’s Taste of Wellness Expo was a huge success, as close to 400 guests strolled from table to table sampling health products and learning different facts related to one’s well being. Some of the goods, services and information offered at the event included locally grown fresh fruits and vegetables, organic spices and seasonings, ion detox foot baths, various health-related examinations, as well as books on healthy lifestyles.
All proceeds from the event benefited the non-profit organization World Wellness Education. “We try to make a difference one story at a time,”says Jean Sumner, who is enthusiastic about her next event located near The Villages, the Sweet Sweet Wellness Event on February 8th. — By Tara Gerber
