Muses:
In Greek Mythology, there were nine Muses who were the daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne, the goddess of memory. They were the source of knowledge, the guardians of the arts and goddesses of inspiration, each specializing in a respective genre. They also each had a planet and instruments or emblems replated to them. Calliope holds a ship evoking stories of epic voyages such as Homer’s Odyssey.

If you’ve ever seen one of Nixon’s paintings, you’ll know he is meticulous and amazingly creative.
